It is a traditional Eastern European Byzantine equilateral cross design, made utilizing traditional Western Florentine engraving techniques. The main body of the cross is pierced out in a "Cera Ape" (bee's wax) style and the border is painstakingly hand engraved to create a brilliant shine from every angle. Originally designed and made in Italy, this piece was part of a small study experimenting with applying engraving to the side of ring bands and is best worn as a thumb ring to highlight the side engraving. This cross was hand crafted and hand engraved out of 1.5 grams solid Sterling Silver. It boasts a hand set, .1ct, Rose-cut, Cognac, Diamond center stone set in 18kt yellow gold. As we approach the 2020’s, the artist’s design inspiration for this piece comes from a hundred years ago, in the 1920’s when the Art Deco movement was in its infancy. The Western Rose-cut Cross-Art Deco measures 20mm long, 9mm wide and 5mm thick.

The "Royal Affair" band was originally designed and made in Italy. This 11mm sterling band has a 2mm rise off the hand and is inlayed with solid 18 kt yellow gold wire. This piece is finished by oxidizing the silver to create contrast and then hand engraving the body, in a classic Florentine style. tThe gold inlay border is roughly shaved by hand to create facits of reflective light.
